Rice Ball Casserole – Easy Baked Arancini in One Dish
Sep 28, 2025
Today I’m sharing my Rice Ball Casserole recipe – a baked twist on the Italian classic arancini! Instead of frying individual rice balls, all the same delicious ingredients are layered into one casserole dish and baked in the oven until golden and bubbly. It’s cheesy, hearty, and perfect for feeding a crowd without the hassle of frying. Whether you call them arancini or rice balls, this casserole version is guaranteed to be a hit!

Hello everybody! Today we make rice ball casserole. First thing I want to start with the meat
0:06
I put a little drop of oil, not too much. It's enough. Okay, we can start with the meat
0:12
I put it right over here. This I want to make brown. And one time if it makes brown
0:19
I want to put the onion inside to cook together. Okay, now we put the onion
0:26
We gotta cook on the medium and make sure the turn once in a while again you don't want to be burned
0:33
The meat and the onion ready and now we put the peas. Now the peas it's froze
0:38
You gotta cook like maybe five to six minutes together with the meat and onion
0:44
And we give a nice mix all together. And we load the flame and you gotta cook a little bit more
0:53
This is done and now I want to put a little sauce
0:59
together This is homemade sauce We make a nice mix together Now this I put a really really low because this is done
1:13
And now we gotta start with the rice Okay, first thing I want to start with the rice. I want to put a little sauce
1:21
inside Arvoreal rice are cooked already and are left to cool down This is gonna be cold when I mix It so easy to mix with my hands It mixes really really good
1:35
With a spoon, it takes me maybe all day long. And now, look at this, so beautiful
1:41
You see, like this, with the hands, and done. And let me go, in my sink over here, and let me wash my hands
1:51
Okay now we start with this and we put on a barrel a little sauce. This is the
1:58
same way you make lasagna and I do like this. Okay now we got over here the rice
2:08
The rice I need half a barrel after I got to cover with the other half
2:15
and I put this on a barrel right over here. And now we pack everything to rice on a barrel and this
2:28
it's done like that. Now it's time for the meat. Now you everybody see you got a little liquid
2:37
Make sure that no pour too much liquid. That's why I use this spoon. Okay take the
2:43
the liquid out Yeah put it right over here Now this you gotta go everything over here And now we pack everything like that
3:03
Okay, now we got this mozzarella, fresh mozzarella, and we put all over the place
3:10
Because this one, this is cooked, you got to see a beautiful caramel, all the mozzarella
3:16
It be nice melted in the middle and nice melted mouth. Good, tastes good
3:23
I think this is called Pearl Mozzarella. I got Pecorino cheese and I want to pour a little bit together with the mozzarella over here
3:34
And since I got no Pecorino cheese, use Parmigiano cheese. We finish the first lay
3:42
Now we got to pour the rest of the rice on top, the cover, all the mozzarella and the
3:48
pecorino cheese, whatever. We gotta make sure to cover everything now. Look how
3:55
beautiful it looks. Now it's gonna go in the oven at 400 degrees. Okay, it looks so delicious
4:04
Okay, now it's 20 minutes. We gotta take it out. Oh, look how beautiful it looks
4:12
Really good. Okay, now it's time to put the mozzarella on the top
4:18
But so you like to have more red sauce on the top you can put more sauce But unlike like this we put mozzarella now to cover everything and we leave it stay after
4:33
maybe 10 more minutes with the mozzarella, like I want it to melt really, really beautiful
4:40
And now we put a little more decorino cheese on the top
4:47
To finish my decoration. Okay, when it cools off a little bit, it comes really when you pick up really together the rice
5:21
Now I want to taste it. Oh, look, it's a nice, look at the mozzarella
5:27
Mmm. It's really, really good. I want everybody to make it the same way I did it
5:39
dinner and I want to know what it come out when you make this. Salud, a chinchin, really good
