Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Hello Everybody! Today have two stuffed mushroom recipes to share with you all! One version is stuffed with zucchini and the second version is stuffed with crab meat. Watch the full tutorial in the video below or continue scrolling for the written recipe.


  • 15 white button mushrooms, washed

For the zucchini stuffing:

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 zucchini, chopped
  • small handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 small handfuls of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • salt, to taste
  • fresh ground black pepper, to taste

For the crab meat stuffing:

  • 1/2 cup crab meat
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce, (I used habanero hot sauce)
  • 2 small handfuls of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • Worcestershire sauce, couple of drops
  • small handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Bring a pot of water to a boil. In the meantime, remove the stems and slice off a thin layer of the bottom of each mushroom. Set these discarded pieces to the side, as they will be used for the stuffing. Add the mushrooms to the pot and boil for up to a minute and a half. Strain the mushrooms and place on a dish and let cool off.

Zucchini stuffing: Fry the garlic and onion with the olive oil in a pan over a medium flame. In the meantime, take your discarded mushroom pieces and chop them into small pieces. Chop your zucchini and add the chopped mushroom and zucchini to the frying pan. Add salt and fresh black pepper and mix all together. Fry for about 3 minutes and then place in a bowl and let cool off. Once cooled off, add the parsley, mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs and mix together.

Crab meat stuffing: In a bowl, mix all of the crab meat stuffing ingredients together.

Once the mushrooms have cooled off, you can begin stuffing each mushroom with a spoonful of either the zucchini or crab meat stuffing. On a baking sheet, pour enough water to cover the entire sheet. Place each stuff mushroom on the baking sheet and sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 20 minutes.
