Garlic Shrimp with Linguine Recipe

Hello Everybody! Today I am making Garlic Shrimp with Linguine. This dish is really yummy and full of flavor. It is a super easy recipe and takes less than a half an hour to make. Watch the video below to see how I cook this recipe in real-time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb linguine
  • 1.5 lb shrimp, cleaned
  • 5 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • handful parsley, chopped
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • hot pepper flakes, to taste

Bring a pot of water mixed with a pinch of salt to a boil. Cook the pasta as per the package instructions.

Heat up a frying pan over a medium/high flame. Add the olive oil and heat up before adding the shrimp. Only add the shrimp once the oil is really hot. Lower the heat to a medium flame.

After about 2 minutes, add the garlic. Mix really well and flip the shrimp to the other side in order to cook evenly. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper and stir. Lower the heat to a low flame.

Add the lemon juice and white wine and stir. Continue to cook over a low flame for about 2 minutes.

Next, add the butter and stir until completely melted. Add the hot pepper flakes and a Tbsp of  parsley and continue to cook for 5 minutes over a very low flame.

Once the linguine is ready, scoop into the frying pan and mix with the garlic shrimp.

Serve with a sprinkle of parsley on top and enjoy! Cin cin!
