Italian Broccoli Rabe

Ingredients
- 1 bunch Broccoli Rabe
- 3 Garlic Cloves sliced
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Chili Peppers or hot pepper flakes, optional
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in the salt.
- Meanwhile, trim the broccoli rabe by cutting off the tough ends at the bottom. Place the broccoli rabe into a large bowl and then add cold water to it. Shake the broccoli rabe around in the water to wash and then place into a colander to drain.
- Add the broccoli rabe to the boiling pot of salted water. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until tender but still crisp. Drain the broccoli rabe and set it aside on a dish.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and chili peppers, and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Pour the garlic and oil over top the broccoli rabe.
- Serve with your favorite main dish and enjoy!
